Thai Month

Month in Thai January - ma ga-ra kom February - goom pa pun March - mee na kom April - may sa yon May - peut sa pa kom June - mi too na yon July - ga-ra-ga dar kom August - sing ha kom September - gun yar yon October - dtoo lar kom November - preu sa ji gar yon December - tun wa kom "But... the word duean for month is normally prefixed. Term II Holiday

Yes, Term II ended on Apr 4th. We have our first "holidlet" on Apr 5th. Pattaya - a place that many warned us against.... Well, you have got to be there to know it. However, we had an insurance - hotel with a pool... in case we really could not go out! Turned out to be a fun holiday - Open Zoo, Underwater World, a little bit of sandy beach and the swimming pool! Then, we went for a longer holidlet. Supposedly 3D2N but ended as a 4D3N. TW was here at 3 (Dec 04) when Mommy had LW in her womb. You can check out the pic in this blog too. Now LW here at 3 (Apr 07) when Mommy had ?W in her womb! We came straight to the same WhiteSandBeach Resort and whoala - there are still 2 beach-front villas available! Day 3 was an adventure - drove to Eastern side of island.... all the way to Long Beach. Then decided to stay the night at the other side of this Eastern side.... anyway, check out the video below....

CNY Trip 2008 (Jan25-Feb10)

2008 CNY n Uncle BSeng's Wedding

It was a hectic 2-week trip back to Malaysia. Anyway, happy that all the cousins could get together in Ipoh.

Back in Bangkok, TW attended a good friend's party at Major Bowl. Special face painting and bowling lanes for kids!

2008 - January

2008 - A New Year Had a wonderfully long lunch at ex-neighbour's house. Sang 3 b'day songs w 3 b'day cakes for mommy peng. Introduced to a weird gift concept - basket full of vegetables. Enjoyed receiving nice words from school (bkk patana) - tjiawern achieved writing target, tjiawern offered place in school gymnastics team etc... You can also see a picture TW drew - Papa and LuWei kicking football.

Dec 2007 - MaeHongSon, Thailand.

Dec 2007 - MaeHongSon, Thailand. The trip took 10days to complete. 2,100km. Avg temperature in the morning - 12 degree celcius. Super cold shower. Beautiful morning - sun rise, sea of mist/cloud, flowers in full bloom.

Lu Wei in Regents International

Today is the Day 1 of Regent's School in Full Uniform. LuWei enjoyed his first day (in PE uniform) yesterday. They made spider!! And that's after a full day's work (8:30am-1:30pm).

Singapore Jul07

Holiday in Singapore. Excellent makan makan and fun for children. Visited Science Centre, Chinese 7000Yr Exhibition, Zoo etc.

Dental Centre

Peng had some treatments done in one of the more well known dental centres. It is a block of building - 6 stories high. The 2nd floor is for dental treatment. I had my coffee and browsed the internet while waiting. TjiaWern n LuWei entertained themselves on 3rd Floor - the children dental floor.... check out those toys, chairs, kiddy sink/mirror, computer w games and Piano. And yes, they get to drink those fruit juices too. FOC.

Bangkok Patana

TWern started Year 1 in Bangkok Patana this academic year (Aug07-Jun08) In this very interesting school (which is celebrating 50th anniversary this year), TWern has also started her first: - Thai Lesson - Gymnastics - Violin With 20 students in each class and 8 class in her year, this is a much bigger school than Regents. We hope TWern will adjust well.

ChokChai Farm

Finally, we visited ChokChai Farm (Apr 07). LuWei and I enjoyed it thoroughly. We saw cows, camels, deers and many other animals there. There are also shows performed here with the animals. The lady invited Pa to try their work - milk the cow! We also saw the Dragon Fruit tree!

2007 May 1st - Hua Hin & Samut Prakan

May 1st - Labour Day weekend. We went to Elephant Park in Samut Prakan and then to HuaHin.

There are..... elephants. LuWei was holding tightly to Pa. There are also many shows that we can watch. This one below is Elephant show - supposedly The Main Attraction here. Elephants are taught to do various tricks... like taking football penalty!

Then we went to check out an apartment our new friend has offered us - ChaAm Condotel.

Pa found it quite peaceful. So we decided to stay here. What do we do? Sleep, Wake Up, TV, Eat, Beach, Swim, Sleep.

My BJ Neighbour - Moose... Minh

Minh is my neighbour in Bukit Jelutong. Moose is Minh's father's daughter. Minh has no sibling but many many relatives.... Moose and Minh is ONE and THE SAME. We had great time. LuWei tried to join us but hey, he is just a boy you know.... anyway, we are good "JeJe"s... I hope Moose and Minh can come again.
