Cambodia

Cambodia. One can only EXPERIENCE it. POVERTY. Children so poor that they will wait at the side of table and eat whatever food left by diners. Difficult to imagine. MAJESTIC. Angkor Wat n others. The Khmer kingdom had 1,000,000 people residing within the 4 walls when London only had 30,000! NATURAL WONDER. Tonle Sap fed by Mekon river which flows from the sea back into the lake 4 months a year swelling the lake from 1mtr to 10mtr deep. INCREDIBLE ADAPTABILITY. Real floating village, with floating restaurant, floating church, floating garden, floating pig sty EXOTIC FOOD. Very much like Thailand. Very yummy indeed. And ofcourse Cricket, Green bug, Spider.. Hmmmmm.. Wonder if I can find this in restaurant. "pong tea kon" (fertilised duck egg containing an embryo, like the Filipino balut). This one is yummier with bones. HOLLYWOOD-ish. This is "the Tomb Raider tree where Angelina Jolie picked a jasmine flowe before falling through the earth into Pinewood Studios" (Extracted from LP) Now you can see the "real face" of this tree. It is just so unfair that Angelina Jolie gets all the credit when it is this tree that does all the work.. (errrrr). One of the 4 towers in Angkor Wat. Rated 3S - Steep steps stair. Taken at a market. Near where the PhnomPenh-SiemReap bus stops. Check out the cute little fan. Interested to go? Just be prepared for the swarming touts shouting for your attention. No joke. Police has to use cane(!) and stun-gun to push the crowd back. Copyright TLLau
