2007 May 1st - Hua Hin & Samut Prakan

May 1st - Labour Day weekend. We went to Elephant Park in Samut Prakan and then to HuaHin.

There are..... elephants. LuWei was holding tightly to Pa. There are also many shows that we can watch. This one below is Elephant show - supposedly The Main Attraction here. Elephants are taught to do various tricks... like taking football penalty!

Then we went to check out an apartment our new friend has offered us - ChaAm Condotel.

Pa found it quite peaceful. So we decided to stay here. What do we do? Sleep, Wake Up, TV, Eat, Beach, Swim, Sleep.

2006 Dec17-27 BKK-Phuket Rd Trip

 

Day 1

BKK to Prachuap

Found a beachfront accommodation and made enquiry. Good rate, good stay.

Day 2

Relaxing morning. Visited the aquarium at Prachuap. Slow drive to Chumpon.

Day 3

Destination - Isthmus of Kra. Rustic. Beautiful sunset from the corner stilt-unit - right above the sea water where fishermen would come crabbing very early in the morning (4-5am).

Day 4

Local reservoir with lots of fish. Again not many people at all.

Ranong town - with hotspring for public to use (feet soaking) for free.

Day 5

Lots of signages (resort) pointing to a right turn and so I decided to heed their advices.  Next thing we were on a ferry and checked into a beautiful island resort. That evening, a newfound friend took us our for dinner and it turned out the restaurant owner is Ahia Queng!! How wonderful!

Phuket! We knew it was going to be busier but thought we would just check in and experience the place for a day or 2.

The beach was full of people.

Left Phuket. Lunch at Phanga and then northward.

Arrived Huahin. Stayed 1 night just before the main town.

2nd night in town and enjoyed local food etc.

Horse riding at HuaHin beach, good local food + massage.

Then head home @BKK

HuaHin 2005 with Wees

Hua Hin is a nice beach. There are crabs, horses and dogs. Just the type of beach i'd call beach.... We eat weird stuff again. Like rice in ice (!) with sweetened prawn, fish etc. We stayed in this apartment with many pools.... and koi fish. We also visited a very nice park... sofitel park in a hotel. Then I came back home to my friends.... And my school!!! And my duckies!!!
