ChokChai Farm

Finally, we visited ChokChai Farm (Apr 07). LuWei and I enjoyed it thoroughly. We saw cows, camels, deers and many other animals there. There are also shows performed here with the animals. The lady invited Pa to try their work - milk the cow! We also saw the Dragon Fruit tree!

Apr 5th Chakri Day: Angsila-BangSaen DayTrip

Chakri Holiday (commemorating King Rama I ascension - start of Rattanakosin era). We were at Angsila-BangSaen, 1.5 hour from Bangkok. Mom did some shopping I helped to look after LuWei Entering Angsila Having lunch at this restaurant with sea view. Whole stretch of them on stilts. LuWei is happy The crab.... hmmm... sweet. Have you seen the Drunken Master? Not sure if the monkey managed to get home safely. View from a hill nearby. This is the "upper level". Safari World 2005

Safari World - My First Trip There is on one side this open zoo So many animals roaming around. Including tigers and lions I prefer the not so wild side.... They have Giraffe and other animals here too!! Oh yah. The Dolphin show was very good. LuWei enjoyed it too There are still some other shows that we didn't have time to watch. But it is ok 'cos my cousin will be visiting Bangkok and we will all go again. Copyright TLLau

ChiangMai RoadTrip 2004

This was to be my 1st real exotic road trip in Thailand. Imagine 9 days on the road from Bangkok to Chiangrai Chiangmai and back...man, that's 2000odd kms..talk about getting me prepared for Ian Wright's job on Discovery Travel & Adventure. 1st stop on the road trip-Wild sunflowers in Lopburi. The flowers were in full bloom. We had an interesting lunch. Papa bought steamed crab along the way and I ate a crepe.
