Update

Back from a visitation.... OK, time for a little update as to what has happened so far. Peng is adjusting well to work. It is good that little one is not here so there is no need to worry for her... except that Peng missed her terribly. We call back every 2 days. Interesting to note that TWern is doing very well at Grandma Popo's house. No cry, eat well, sleep very well. All these when she is not with papa n mama. For me, I've been busy too. Surprised? Let's list them down to give you a rough idea..... Oct 1st - AM called M'sian Embassy to check out some issues. Called British Club to set up appointment. Visited Neilson's Library (ok, it is not very pragmatic but at least I'm trying to do something for TW). Visited Krungtep Kreetha Sports Club (and found out they do not take in foreigners!). Peng called at 2pm. The lawyer needed some documents and I'll have get it from apartment. Reached apartment at 3pm and got all organised again at 3:45pm. I had wanted to visit Bangkok Villa (a serviced residential compound which we may decide to stay in) again but decided not to b'cos it was raining. Arrived SCB at 4:30pm. Peng was supposed to be out at 5:30pm so that we could attend a dinner at 6:30pm. Remember, Bangkok is home to 10-12million people. Over 150square km. Traffic jam is worse than KL. You are lucky to cover 4 sites in one day! Through out these past 10 working days, I managed to visit 15 houses, 4 recreation clubs, 1 library, 1 hospital, 4 international schools, 4 shopping centres (just shopped in one, the rest is for "research" purposes). Apparently I'm using about RM$40 worth of petrol everyday! By the way, we visited Ayuthaya last Saturday. The 3 hour river cruise back to Bangkok city along Chao Phraya was good. It's time for dinner now. Chao. TL+Peng=TjiaWern01 Posted by Hello
