A Short History to be updated... What Have I Learned? I'm doing some self study (http://www.learningthai.com/l_difficulties.html) before "official tutorial" starts. You really cannot do very well without being able to speak and read Thai. Not like in Malaysia or Singapore where English is very widely used. This is Thailand. This lists the various phrases that I'm learning: Can you help me please? (chuay dai mai) What do you call this in Thai? (nee pa sa thai riak wa a-rai) Can you please write it down? (khian dai mai) Can you speak louder? (poot dang dang dai mai) Can you speak slower? (poot char char dai mai) Say again please. (poot eek krang) I don't understand the word ... (mai khao jai cum wa ...) See you again (lao jer gun)
